    Why Choose Us

    What Sets Our Service Apart

A failing roof is one of the most expensive problems a home can develop — slipped tiles, sagging timbers and damp patches in upstairs ceilings are all warning signs that the structure above your head is no longer doing its job. We strip the existing roof back to the rafters, replace any rotten timbers, fit a modern breathable membrane and re-tile or re-slate to current building regulations. On adjoining pitched sections and integrated roof systems, we install a mechanically fixed dry ridge system to eliminate the cracked mortar and slipped ridge tiles that plague older mortar-bedded roofs.

    Built to Last 50+ Years

Modern concrete and clay tiles, paired with a breathable underlay and treated softwood battens, deliver a roof that will outlast its guarantee by decades.

    Dry Ridge System Included

Where appropriate — particularly on adjoining pitched sections or integrated roof systems — we fit a mechanically fixed dry ridge in place of mortar, eliminating cracked bedding and wind-blown ridge tiles.

    Full Structural Inspection

Once the old covering is stripped we inspect every rafter, purlin and wall plate, treating or replacing any timber affected by rot or woodworm before re-covering.

    Breathable Membrane Underlay

We use modern breathable membranes that allow moisture to escape from the loft while keeping wind-driven rain out — preventing the condensation problems caused by old bitumen felt.

    Improved Insulation Options

Re-roofing is the perfect opportunity to upgrade loft or rafter-level insulation, dramatically reducing heating bills and meeting current Part L energy requirements.

    Tidy, Considerate Site Management

Scaffolding, dust sheets, daily clean-downs and skip removal are all included. We protect your driveway, garden and neighbours throughout the works.

    10-Year Workmanship Guarantee

Every full roof replacement is covered by our written 10-year guarantee, in addition to the manufacturer warranties on tiles, membrane and dry ridge components.

When Is It Time for a Full Roof Replacement?

Patch repairs have their place, but there comes a point where throwing money at an ageing roof simply doesn't add up. Tell-tale signs include multiple slipped or missing tiles after every storm, sagging rooflines, daylight visible through the loft, persistent damp patches on upstairs ceilings, and crumbling mortar along the ridge and verges. Roofs covered with old concrete tiles from the 1960s and 70s are typically reaching the end of their service life, and the bitumen felt underlay used in that era often perishes long before the tiles do. If your roof is suffering from any combination of these issues, a full replacement usually works out cheaper over a 10-year horizon than a string of repeat repairs — and gives you a roof that's fit for the next half-century rather than the next bad winter.

    Dry Ridge Systems Explained

Traditionally, ridge tiles along the apex of a pitched roof were bedded onto sand-and-cement mortar. The problem with mortar is that it cracks, shrinks and eventually fails — especially under the freeze-thaw cycles common in West Midlands winters. Once the bedding lets go, ridge tiles can lift in high winds and rain finds its way straight into the loft. A dry ridge system replaces the mortar with a mechanically fixed solution: a continuous union strip and clamping brackets screw the ridge tiles down to a treated batten, with a ventilated roll underneath. The result is a maintenance-free ridge that won't crack, won't blow off and ventilates the roof space at the same time. We fit dry ridge systems as standard on full re-roofs and recommend them on adjoining pitched sections — for example where a single-storey extension meets the main house — and on integrated roofing systems combining tiled, flat and rooflight elements.

    Materials, Colours and Style

We work with all the leading UK roofing manufacturers including Marley, Redland and Sandtoft, offering a full range of concrete, clay and natural slate options. Whether you want to replicate the original character of a period property with plain clay tiles, modernise with sleek anthracite interlocking tiles, or match a neighbouring streetscape exactly, we'll bring physical samples to your free survey. All membranes, battens, ridge components, valleys and flashings are sourced from established UK suppliers and installed strictly in line with BS 5534 and the manufacturer's fixing specification — protecting both your guarantee and your home insurance.
